UpdateAI – Zoom meeting assistant

A little about me

Sofi (1)

Sofi Aguilera, Project Manager

Hi, I’m Sofi! I’m 26 years old and I’m from Rosario, Argentina. I would describe myself as a friendly, sociable person. I love spending time with my family and friends, preferably while watching a new movie or TV series or while having a nice dinner. I also love sports, so in my free time I like to go to the gym and train CrossFit.

Why I joined UpdateAI

I joined UpdateAI last year because I’ve loved the company’s mission from the moment I heard about it. Obviously, Zoom became an integral part of many people’s lives during the pandemic, but that also meant Zoom meetings had become a main source of frustration; anything that made those meetings easier to navigate, I felt, was worth pursuing.

At the time, the opportunity to join UpdateAI presented a major challenge for me and my professional career. Now, I’m thrilled I joined and really grateful for everything I’ve learned and the amazing team I’ve had the chance to work with.

What I do at UpdateAI

I’m the project manager, which means on a daily basis I work with the engineering team and help them organize their tasks and coordinate processes with the other members of the company, too.

Why I'm so excited about UpdateAI

I’m excited about UpdateAI because I believe we have huge potential. There is a lot of value in what we do for customer success, first of all, and I’m also optimistic because our team is so incredible. They all put a lot of effort on their daily work and all have a great sense of belonging, which I believe is crucial.

Which core company value I align with the most

The first core value, “It’s About People,” really stands out for me. That’s because I strongly believe a dream team is based on the people in it and as I said before, I couldn’t have asked for a better team. We wouldn’t have made it this far if it wasn’t for every member of our company being a team player. Our strong bond is what motivates us to continue working hard to help others make the most out of their meetings and allow them to stay more present and focused on building their customer relationships – rather than having their attention devoted to taking notes.
