A little about me
Javier Mattos
My name is Javier. I am 30 years old and am from Rosario, Argentina. In my spare time I like to watch movies and TV shows, play video games and spend time with my family and friends. Also, I played field hockey for 22 years (check out the picture I included below!), but I now enjoy going to the gym a few times a week to get most of my exercise.
Why I joined UpdateAI
I was intrigued by UpdateAI the first time I heard about it. I loved the company’s ambitious goals, especially since I love to challenge myself professionally and personally. I was also drawn to UpdateAI because the company aims to make other people’s jobs easier – which was a pretty noble goal, I felt. Looking back now, I see we’ve been able to build an amazing company and I’ve been able to meet and work with a lot of great people!
What I do at UpdateAI
I’m a backend engineer. Essentially, I’m in charge of all the technology that occurs in the shadows and makes UpdateAI “go.” The backend engineers are the foundation – we handle all of the interactions with Zoom and some other third party apps, too. Also, we make sure all the information stored in our system is secure and private.
Why I'm so excited about UpdateAI
I’m excited about UpdateAI because of what it means for other companies. UpdateAI helps companies organize and build relations with their customers by having all of their data in one place, with plenty of integrations and flexibility. And I’m already excited about some of the features we’ll have in the future – the possibilities for us are endless.
Which core company value I align with the most
There are two core values I like in particular: “It’s About People” and “Act with Authenticity.” I think that the foundation for growing and building a successful business is to trust in people and have strong bonds with them so that everyone is aligned and can push forward in the same direction.
